Craig Williams, PE

Craig grew up in Rowan County and graduated from South Rowan high school. He attended UNC Charlotte where he majored in Civil Engineering and graduated in 1999. After graduating, he worked under local legend engineers at Verna Engineering and Whitley Engineering where he learned to apply the book knowledge gained in college to helping clients in the field. In 2008, a downturn in the real estate market required a change of direction to bridge design and forensic engineering. In 2024, Craig’s passion for assisting clients on personal residential and small commercial projects drove him to create his own business — Craig Williams Structural Engineering, PLLC.

Craig lives in southwestern Rowan County, near his childhood home, with his wife, Jennifer, and their daughter, Megan.
